The Reports module includes configurable reports of Rhode Island’s crime data. The user can generate any of the reports provided to examine crime patterns, trends, and information by conducting real-time NIBRS queries. The module allows the user to designate specific data elements of interest for Rhode Island, as well as, one or multiple agencies.

NIBRS reports contain searchable parameters based upon the data submitted. It is standard operating procedure to perform edit checks, quality control checks and reasonableness checks. However, regardless of the extent of the statistical verification process used by the UCR Unit, the accuracy of the data collected under this program depends on the sincere effort exerted by each law enforcement agency to meet the necessary standards of report.
